Filipinos dressed as Chinese marching band are seen in front of the Binondo Church during the celebrations. Chinese Nationals and Filipino Chinese joined together at the parade of Chinese sea goddess Mazu in Manila. Mazu, is believed to be the Chinese goddess of the sea. Serves as patroness of sailors and seafarers.
