The 104th Fighter Wing held a ceremony to promote the 104th Mission Support Group commander Lt. Col. Sherri Hrovatin to colonel. Hrovatin was promoted by the 104FW commander Col. William T. 'Sling' Bladen, and her new rank was presented to her by her sister retired Lt. Col. Lauri Hrovatin. Distinguished visitors included retired Lt. Gen. L. Scott Rice, the 104FW commander Col. William T. 'Sling' Bladen, 104FW vice commander Col. David L. 'Moon' Halasikun, and group commanders and chiefs.
