ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept. 12, 2017) An MH-60R/SH-60B Sea Hawk, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, lands on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during humanitarian assistance efforts. The preparations ensure Iwo Jima is ready to respond to any requests to bolster the Northern Command’s support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance to federal, state and local authorities’ ongoing relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
