Laurence Roderick Llewelyn-Bowen (born 11 March 1965) is a British homestyle consultant and television personality best known for his appearances on the BBC programme Changing Rooms and for being a judge on the ITV reality series Popstar to Operastar in 2010. He is sometimes credited as "Laurence Llewelyn Bowen", and the components of his name are frequently misspelled "Llewellyn" and/or "Lawrence". On Changing Rooms, he is occasionally jocularly styled "Lord Laurence", a play on Laurence Olivier and Llewelyn-Bowen's flamboyance. Laurence shot to fame in the 1990s through regular appearances on the home makeover show and is now regard as the UK’s most easily identifiable interior designer. He has his own range of home interiors, flowers and cutlery designed for Arthur Price which is sold at the Colne store. More recently, Laurence has designed a range of homeware call the House of Laurence. It is his first foray into international collection design.
