A 19th Century view of Victorian bathing machines on the beach at Ramsey, a coastal town in the north of the Isle of Man, a self-governing British Crown dependency in the Irish Sea between Great Britain and Ireland. It is the second largest town on the island after Douglas. It's also known as "Royal Ramsey" due to royal visits by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1847 and by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in 1902.
