Eighty-inch diameter drive wheel was the largest every used on a Great Northern Railway locomotive. S-2 Class engine 2584 was a 4-8-4, consisting of a four-wheel leading truck, eight driving wheels, and a four-wheel trailing truck. The drive wheels were powered by two (one on each side) 29-inch by 29-inch cylinders. Displayed in Havre, MT.
