Two collegiate coaches prepare to battle with pugil sticks during the 2017 Coaches Workshop at the Force Fitness Readiness Center aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., May 19. Thirty-five coaches travelled from across the United States to MCB Quantico for the chance to learn from and about the Marine Corps. The purpose of the workshop is to teach collegiate coaches about the Marine Corps so they can share that information, which is based on first-hand experience, with their athletes. The FFRC was formally known as the Martial Arts Center of Excellence.
