Disposable hypodermic single-use-only needles. These needles, for use with syringes and catheters, have been sterilised by ethylene oxide (EO) and packaged. The label (see C025/8823) states they are non-toxic and free of pyrogens. In this context, pyrogens are materials capable of inducing fevers and infections, such as bacteria and bacterial endotoxins. Manufactured in December 2013, the needles should be used by 2018.
