, Zarnowiec, Pomorskie, Poland - Building ruin of the nuclear power plant Zarnowiec. The Zarnowiec Nuclear Power Plant (Polish Elektrownia Jadrowa Zarnowiec) started construction in 1972 - was to become the first nuclear power plant in Poland. Four reactors of the Soviet type VVER-440/213 were planned. Because of protests, the project was abandoned in the 1990s.
