Across the east end is a 44 gallon wooden tank, the bottom of which is 3' above the floor. It has a free water surface of square feet. Four feet directly above the vat is a water vaporizing nozzle that is similar to those used on vegetable stands. It is kept continuously in action. That fraction of the water jet which is not beaten into a mist is conducted out of the cage and allowed to flow over the walk of the greenhouse compartment. The element of the mist that does not evaporate falls into the tank. The overflow from the vat passes.
