Double collar of bobbin lace with mountain and trough line, On a fine lattice ground, a Mechelen ground (also called ice ground), there is a symmetrical pattern. Within a stretched scalloped edge of lobed leaves and florets there are triple flower branches on either side of a leaf rosette under a 'mountain and valley' line. This borders two halved diamond-shaped medallions with a grid filling of crucifixes. The narrow strip of the collar shows a walking pattern of a flower branch between omega-shaped lobed tendrils.
