Helsinki Cathedral that sits on the northern edge of the Senate Square (Senaatintori).


Helsinki Cathedral (in Finnish Helsingin tuomiokirkko or Suurkirkko), is an Evangelical Lutheran cathedral located on the northern edge of the Senate Square (Senaatintori). Designed by Carl Ludvig Engel in neoclassical style 1830-1852 the building forms the climax of the whole Senate Square also designed by Engel.
