Nat. Mus., xxiv, 892, 1902. This species is very close to N. crassa. The first four abdominal seg- ments are non-carinate, except for a short feeble elevation on the first; the first segment has a median tubercle; and the pleura of all the segments have shallow depressions suggestive of the sculpturing of N. crassa; the carinas of the fifth and sixth segments are less clearly marked than in N. crassa.
