This is the finest strain of Late Flat Dutch Cabbage on the market. The heads are flat and grow remarkably large, even, and very solid. Stems grow short, and the qual- ity of the Cabbage is very fine. It is verv hardy, and makes a slow growth, but is a sure heading sort, and nearly every plant can be depended upon to produce a fine large head. Pkt, 10 cts., 40 cts.; \ lb., $ For plants, see page 210. Large Late Drumhead. Heads are solid and have few loose leaves, thus allowing of planting closely in the field. 10 cts.; oz., 40 cts.; $ lb., $ Autumn King, or World Beater. Heads large size, solid, good quality and keep well. 10 cts.; oz., 40 cts.; J lb., $ Chinese, or Celery Cabbage. (See cut.) Also called Pe-Tsai, and Cut Cabbage, by Chinese gardeners, and beginning to attract attention in America. It does not form a cabbage-head, but when grown to its full size resembles the Cos Lettuce, and the outer leaves may be used during its growth. It is odorless while being cooked and the flavor is delicious, being very mild, and it is excellent for use as a salad, or cooked like asparagus. We are quite sure that it will please all who partake of it. Sow seed after July 1st, and give plenty of room to the plants, setting in rows 3 feet apart and 2 feet apart in the row.
