A wheellock rifle, Suhl, dated 1622. Octagonal barrel with a slightly swamped muzzle and an eight-groove rifled bore in 14 mm calibre. Dovetailed sights with a folding rear sight. The chamber bears the marks "SUL" and the hen, behind engraving of the date "1622" and the almost illegible maker's name "Ketter"(?) worn by cleaning. Smooth lock with exterior wheel. Set trigger.
