Meader Co. has the contract for spraying the famous elms at Bristol this year. Samuel Kinder, of Bristol, has the sympathy of the trade in the death of his mother, which occurred last week. She was 85 years of age. William A. Bowers has put out a new electric sign at his store, on Washington street. V. J. Berarducci was in New York last week on a t)usiness trip. W. NEWPORT, R. I. The premium lists for the June ex- hibition of the Newport Horticultural Society have been sent out and it is expected that the show, June 28 at Music hall, will be an unusually fine one. All information relating to the exhibition should be sought from A. W. Potter, Jr., secretary of the society. A. T. Bunyard, of New York, has dis- continued his Newport branch, which he maintained for more than ten years. Alexander MacLellan was in New York last week for several days. W. H. M.
