Tuz Gölü or the Salt Lake Turkey

Tuz Gölü or the Salt Lake in Central Anatolia is a tectonic, saline lake occupying a huge area in the arid central plateau. It is Turkey's second largest lake but is very shallow as recedes each summer to leave a desolate expanse of encursted salt which is worked, supporting the local economy.
