Proboscis minute ; palpi porrect, slight, hardly extending as far as the frons, which is smooth ; antenna? of male minutely serrate; hind tibia? with two pairs of spurs. Fore wing rather short and broad; veins 3, 4 stalked ; 5 from above angle of cell; 6 and 9 stalked, 7, 8 absent; 10 from cell; 11 anastomosing with 12. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 stalked to near termen ; 5 from just below middle of discocellulars; 6, 7 stalked; 8 from middle of cell. In key differs from Nudosia in the hind tibia? having the medial spurs present; fore wing with veins 3, 4 stalked, 6 and 9 stalked, 7, 8 absent; hind wing with veins 3, 4 and 6, 7 stalked. 621 a. Euproctosia cretata, n. sp. d . Head and thorax ochreous white ; abdomen white, the ventral surface ochreous white. Fore wing ochreous white irrorated with pale brown ; a brown patch at base of costa ; a slight brown ante- medial patch on costa with faint diffused oblique line from it to inner margin ; a faint medial brown shade from costa to submedian fold ; a large fuscous spot at lower angle of cell and smaller spot beyond upper angle ; a faint oblique postmedial brown shade ; a slight dark mark on termen below apex.
