The implements of the game are described as follows : Adish about a foot in diameter at the base and carved out of aknot of wood or made of earth. The peach stones were thenground or cut down into an oval form, reducing them in theprocess about half in size, after which the heart of the pit wasremoved and the stones themselves burned on one side toblacken then.
