Street with residential buildings and green front gardens in the historic Pullman district. At the end of the 19th century, 20,000 people lived and worked in the town designed by entrepreneur George Pullman from 1880. The beauty of the town and the comfort of electricity and running water in the houses were intended to keep the employees happy and, as a result, they refrained from drinking alcohol and going on strike.
