First to link the United States with con-tinental Europe, the $50 million cable systemwill stretch 3,575 nautical miles from Tucker-ton, , to St. Hilaire-de-Riez, France. Scheduled for service next fall, the cablewill have a capacity of 128 voice-grade cir-cuits.
