A team from the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) led by Ambassador Francisco Madeira and senior Somali National Army commanders, inspect the Jaalle Siyaad Military Academy in Mogadishu, which is currently occupied by the Burundian AMISOM contingent. The AMISOM team visited the academy on December 13, 2018, to assess the status of facilities ahead of the handover to the Somali authorities as part of the conditions-based transfer of security responsibilities to the Somali National Security Forces.
