A women takes a selfie with a Mari Lwyd during the ancient tradition of Wassailing in the Gower village of Parkmill near Swansea. In he last decade, locals have revived the folklore custom of using a horse's skull mounted on a pole called a Mari Lwyd to visit homes in the village and to help awaken the apple trees that are grown nearby. Hundreds of people now attend the event which helping to keep the centuries old tradition alive in South Wales.
