The crowned Dutch virgin with the hate of freedom is accompanied by the Dutch Lion. In the axis of the Merklap, among other things, the Wapen van Amsterdam and the tree of knowledge of good and evil are embroidered. The snake head refers to Eva, recognizable by her long hair. The pattern is symmetrically structured, but not immediately on both halves, so the piece does not look stiff. It is special that the spies of Canaan walk after each other. The initials are embroidered as italic capital letters. Right edge. Double open hem. Amsterdam Lap: Linen (Material).
