Louisa Greenough Powers Ibbotson. Louisa “Loulie” Greenough Powers was Hiram Powers’s oldest daughter, born soon after the death of his first child, Jimmy. She was named after the sculptor Horatio Greenough’s sister, Louisa, who was a close friend of the family.
