SEA - (Nov. 26, 2016) - Sailors assigned to USS Carney (DDG 64) participate in a visit, board, search and seizure exercise aboard the Spanish Navy replenishment ship ESPS Cantabria (AOR 15) during exercise Mavi Balina 16 in the Mediterranean Sea Nov. 26, 2016. Carney, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting a routine patrol in the 6th fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
