Herelikewise is a portrait by Sir Joshua Reynolds, of Mr. Tom-kins, by whom most of the above addresses were written. There are several other apartments, offices, &c., in whichthe city Courts, Kings Bench, Common Pleas, Exchequer,&c. were formerly kept. — The old Council Chamber, inwhich the Court of Aldermen hold their meetings, ismost worthy of attention; the ceiling of this room ishighly decorated.
