Native on the banks of the Parahyba river, in Brazil. 30 cents each. Allamanda Hendersonii. ALOCASIA. Splendid, ornamental-le a v e d aroid plants, closely related to colocasia and caladium ; of easy culture and management, growing in any soil, but preferring a low, moist situation. The Alocasias are very effective as single specimens on the lawn.
