PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 25, 2016) Capt. Bill Sherrod, executive officer of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25), serves Christmas dinner to Sailors and Marines. The ship is deployed with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
