Slip a box with one end removedunder the roots as you dig them. Take dirt and all to the newlocation. September.—Stop cultivating the orchard by September growth should be stimulated in the fall. The cover crop, if notplanted in August, should be planted now. It will help check thefall growth, and will help save the nourishment in the soil for useof the trees next year.
