This table represents the ground floor of the Little Gallery (built in the sixteenth century, decorated in the seventeenth), devoted since the early nineteenth century to the Greek and Roman antiquities. This view shows that the sculptures stood out against a backdrop dotted with Pompeian red roses, now extinct.
