From 1877to 1893 he was employed as book-keeperin the mercantile house of the lateSamuel P. Teasdel, and since June, 1900,he has served as a clerk in the Presid-ing Bishops Office, Salt Lake City. PARK Hamilton Gray, second coun-selor in the presidency of the HighPriests quorum of the Salt Lake Stakeof Zion, is a son of Samuel Park andIsabella Gray, and was born Ndv. 25,1826. He received the fulness of the. gospel at Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland,where he was baptized in November,1840. Soon after his baptism he wasordained to the oflUce of a Teacher,threemonths later to that of a Priest andafterwards to that of an Elder. Hewas also appointed to preside over theKlbirnle branch of the Church, a posi-tion which he occupied until he emigrat-ed to Utah, together with a companyof Saints, which sailed from Liverpool,England, In the ship North Atlantic,Sept. 4, 1854. On the voyage he hadactual charge of the Saints on board,as the president appointed over thecompany, David Sudworth, was serious-ly ill. Two years after his arrival InUtah Elder Park entered the serviceof Pres.
