Haemorrhoids (piles) at the anus (lower frame) and vaginal prolapse (at centre) in a 66 year old female patient. Anal piles are common, particularly during pregnancy. Vaginal prolapse is a weakening of the wall of the vaginal, in this case the back wall, causing the rectum to push down (rectocele).
