Tower of David or David's Citadel on Mount Zion, remains of either the Tower of Phasael or the Tower of Hippicus two of three towers of the citadel built here by King Herod the Great in the 1st century BC, the middle brown part of the structure is Herodian, the lower grey part is from the 12th century Ctusaders era using Herodian era stones, we also see the moat and the entrance to the David Citadel bridge part of the citadel built by Suleiman or Suleyman the Magnificent the Ottoman Sultan in the 16th century.
