Soldier’s military uniform has no insignias or markings. Transnistria along the Dniester River on the Western border of the Ukraine and Moldova is 1/3 Russian, 1/3 Ukrainian and 1/3 Moldavian. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union (USSR) separatists who, unlike Moldova, wished to stay with the USSR or Russia fought an armed conflict with Moldova in 1992.
