Handheld dust monitor. This dust monitor analyses samples and gives immediate results. A Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) inlet allows all inhalable particles to enter the instrument. The airstream is illuminated by light from a laser and the diffracted light is detected and analysed. The concentration of particles is calculated according to several size conventions, either in workplace mode to give Inhalable, Thoracic and Respirable conventions, or environmental mode when TSP, PM10 (Particulate Matter with an aerodynamic diameter less than 10 microns), and values are reported. This is an LN 10 model from Munro.
