St Monans Windmill is the last remaining windmill in Fife. It is a historic preserved landmark located on the edge of a farm field overlooking gentle grassy banks down to St Monans Beach. It was used in the salt production industry that was prevalent in this area in the eighteenth century and through to the mid-nineteenth century.
