Sigard Adolphus Knopf (1857-1940) was a physician specializing in tuberculosis and medical writer who wrote, A History of the National Tuberculosis Association. He was also a member of Margaret Sanger's American Birth Control League and Professor of Phthisiotherapy at the New York Post-Graduate Medical School and Hospital.
