Veterans, citizens and members of the Hangar One Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Air Station, gathered to dedicate Navy Park at Glen Town Center. Bricks inscribed by former service members, who served at NAS Glenview and others surround a fountain in the park. NAS Glenview closed in 1995 after a 58-year presence in this northern suburb of Chicago.
