A statue of Nils Ericson by John Börjeson was erected in 1893 in the then railway park in Stockholm (which was south of the station house, but which disappeared when the Central Bridge was built), but was moved during the 1960s to its present location outside Stockholm Central's main entrance on Vasagatan.
