British-Iranians and supporters gathered in in Piccadilly Circus to remember Mohammad-Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Hosseini who were executed by Iranian government for protesting. The 40th Day after death is a traditional memorial ceremony and ritual in memory of the departed, who’s spirit finally passes to heaven. On 16 September 2022, the 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini, also known as Jina Amini died of injuries she received whilst in the custody of the religious morality police of the Iranian government.
