160720-N-GC639-188 ARABIAN GULF (July 20, 2016) - Sailors aboard the coastal patrol ship USS Monsoon (PC 4) man the boat deck after conducting a passenger exchange with the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) during a Griffin Missile System exercise. Monsoon is one of ten coastal patrol ships assigned to Coastal Patrol Squadron (PCRON) 1 home-ported in Manama, Bahrain in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operation.
