Students from TU Delft, attend the ‘DELFT CAREER DAYS 2023!’ while an impromptu concert from Ocean Rebellions heavy metal band ‘Polymetallic Nodules’, warn of the dangers to the planet caused by ocean mining: ‘Allseas and Deme: no friends of the ocean. NO TO NODULES: ‘On this TU Career days you will meet deep-sea miners Allseas and Deme – GSR, these two companies will treat you to a nice talk and career perspectives. Do not buy into their greenwashing stories! Their true intention is to earn money as quickly as possible, and a vulnerable ecosystem will pay the price. Deep-sea mining is a bad idea! Several countries spoke out against deep sea mining, Spain, France and Canada. More and more companies also join the list.
