I. reticulata is a dwarf, bulbous perennial to 15cm in height, with narrow, stiffy erect leaves and fragrant, flowers , each fall marked with a central yellow ridge. This is a botanical portrait with the whole plant - roots, bulb, leaves,stem and flower.
