The latter work includedthe construction of a flume 6,000 feet long;the erection of a Leffel turbine and a Gen-eral Electric single-phase generator; theconstruction of a high-voltage transmissionline six miles long; and the transformationand distribution of the current in the cityof Cucuta. Thisplant consists of two loo-horse-power tubu-lar boilers, one 200-horse-power Gallowayboiler, one 125-horse-power Ball duplex com-pound engine, one lOO-horse-power Mcin-tosh & Seymour engine, two WheelerAdmiralty surface condensers, two Worth-ington duplex boiler-feed pumps, one 90-kilowatt and two 37^-kilowatt Fort Waynesingle-phase alternators. He is a member ofthe Theta Nu Epsilon fraternity. Faber du Faur, A., Jr. (, 84), wasemployed by Van Santvoord & Hauff,patent lawyers, 1884-88; and practised asconsulting engineer and patent attorney,New York, from 1888 until the time of hisdeath, July 12, 1904.
