An M-551 Sheridan light tank is dropped from the rear of a 436th Military Airlift Squadron C-5B Galaxy aircraft over the Sicily drop zone. The Air Force Airlift Center is conducting tests to certify the airdrop, formation-flying and low-level flight capabilities of Galaxy aircraft.
