Thigh nerve plexus. Artwork of the nerves (yellow), arteries (red), veins (blue), and muscles (brown) of the upper leg (thigh). The nerves are the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve, the femoral nerve, the obturator nerve and its anterior and posterior branches, the saphenous nerve, and the vastus lateralis nerve. These are the nerves targeted in a mid-femoral sciatic nerve block. The arteries are the femoral artery and the lateral and medial branches of the circumflex femoral artery. The veins are the femoral vein and the deep vein of the thigh. This is the right thigh. For the left thigh, see C016/6804.
