On this Model are marked the towns of Kendal, Amble-side, Ulverston, Bootle, Broughton, Cockermouth, Keswick,Penrith, and Shap. The Parish Chuch,called Crosthwaite Church, is a mile from the town, in the op-posite direction. It is an ancient edifice, consisting of a ISTave^two lateral aisles and a porch.
