The frame-work supporting the burnersis divided into three sections, the centerone being about 5 ft. in width; the tworemaining adjustable wings are attachedo the center section and can be raisedin order to clear cattle guards, etc. Thismachine burns the weeds for a distance ofy/2 ft. on each side of the rails. Twenty to twenty-five miles per daycan be cleared by this weed burner, run-ning about from three to four miles perhour. Three men are required for theoperation of the car, it being run over.
