Illinois Governor James Thompson along with Mount Prospect Village Preisent Carolyn Krause uses a small boat to go on a two hour tour thought the flooded streets to witness the damage to homes in the WoodView Manor area that was ravaged by torrential rains before declaring it a disaster area. Which is the first step when asking the President of the United States for help during a disaster and getting help in managing the problems by sending in FEMA.
